Our locally grown flowers are available at our flower stand in Sparta, Michigan, or at the Sparta Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 4-8pm.
The Flower Stand is a self-serve stand where you can purchase seasonal flower bouquets, local honey, and other goodies, via Venmo, cash, check, or Cash App. A self-serve kiosk and card reader is coming soon!
You are more than welcome to "take a vase, leave a vase!" Empty jars and water are provided in the Flower Stand, so you can put your bouquet in a vase to take home, in case you have a long drive on a hot day, or so you can have the flowers ready to display as soon as possible. -
The First Bloom Flower Stand is located at:
12665 Phelps Avenue Northwest
Sparta, MI 49345As you’re heading north on Phelps Ave, enter the first driveway.
Our production space is west of the Flower Stand, behind one of our barns, on top of the hill. You may be able to spot it if you are going along Phelps!

Yes, I am currently seeking more relationships with local florists, floral designers, and wholesale flower buyers throughout West Michigan. Contact me if you’re interested in working together!

Because this is also a private residence and family farm, with cattle (biosecurity is important!), the farm is not open to the public.
You are more than welcome to take pictures of the Flower Stand, and peruse the parking & retail area! But beyond that, we ask for your respect for our family's generational farm and farmhouse.
Perhaps one day in the future I will offer farm tours and workshops, but I am not there in my journey yet. With your continued support, hopefully I can make that dream a reality! -
You are more than welcome to take photos from the Flower Stand parking & retail area, and in the Flower Stand itself. But beyond that, please do not approach any private buildings, or the cows, to take photos.

That is the aspiration, but we currently do not host on-farm events! If you have a small upcoming event you would like locally grown flowers or custom bouquets for, you are welcome to reach out by filling out the contact form.
I currently do not produce enough volume to provide flowers for larger events (perhaps one day!). I'm starting small, y'all. That's what all the mentors say to do!

There are no refunds or returns. However, you are always welcome to contact me with any feedback or concerns, as I want to make sure you are more than satisfied with your purchase.
There are instructions in the Flower Stand that offer tips & tricks for extending the vase life of your fresh cut flowers. Changing vase water every day is crucial! After the flowers leave the farm, those tender, precious stems are in your care. -
What a question! Other than monetarily supporting and building relationships with your local farmer(s), there are various agricultural and farmer-led organizations you can support:
Kent & Ottawa Conservation District (almost every county in MI has their own Conservation District!)
Detroit Black Community Food Sovereignty Network (not in west MI, but an amazing organization you should check out)
The list could go on & on!
